Folding bar stools are the way to go for those that are constantly on the move. They are easy to manipulate, and if you know what you’re doing you can put them anywhere. If you have the right touch (and listen to this part, because it’s crucial) you can set them up in your kitchen as permanent breakfast counter chairs or make them part of your furniture setup in the living room. Doesn’t that sound like a pretty great deal? It should because it absolutely is!

Now, where to begin? You obviously value your time and space, otherwise you wouldn’t be looking into these convenient little pieces of furniture. The only thing that is now left is for you to decide if you want wooden, aluminum, or some other material. Obviously, any kind of wood like cherry, oak, or pine is recommended for aesthetic appeal and aluminum for those that just want purely practical and aren’t too interested in the looks. What’s nice is that they can both be adjustable, but the metal types are usually more modular. With all the gears and switches, they can make it so they can be put anywhere.

I don’t recommend that you put these at a counter. While they would fit and work, they wouldn’t look right. I know, I started off by saying that you could put them anywhere but they don’t belong in a kitchen. They are an excellent outdoor addition, and they also make great extra chairs if you run out of anything else, but don’t place them permanently. If you absolutely need to get a permanent model, go get a nice Italian wicker or inexpensive 36 inch unfinished leather model. It’s all up to you in the end, but think about when you’re sitting down for breakfast. Do you really want to be worrying about other things? You probably don’t want to be spending your time thinking about leaving.

Now, the one thing you can’t do with these portable folding bar stools is get them to have a gas lift utility. That is, they will never be the hydraulic kind and they usually won’t swivel. This is part of it though, and that’s why they are always so cheap. So basically you need to decide if you want these cool funky chairs to take with you when you go down the road. I’m starting to sound like a commercial now so I’ll stop.
